Frequently asked questions
How should I choose between an ice rink and a roller rink?
Decide based on the surface and activities you want: ice rinks offer figure or hockey skating while roller rinks and skateparks serve inline or quad skating and tricks. Check the venue’s Google category, public-skate times, and whether they rent skates to match your needs.
What should I expect to pay for a public skate session or skate rental?
Costs vary widely by facility and by whether you need skate rental, lockers, or lessons. Look up the rink’s website or call ahead for current admission and rental fees, and ask about family or multi-session discounts if you plan repeated visits.
What should I check before booking a private event or lesson at a rink?
Confirm availability, participant capacity, insurance requirements, and what’s included (ice time, skate rentals, staffing). Also ask about cancellation policies and any age or ability restrictions so you can plan logistics and safety.
