How do I choose a transmission repair shop in Naples?
Start by comparing Google ratings and review counts to see which shops have consistently positive feedback. Look for shops listed specifically as transmission specialists, ask about warranties and certifications, and request a written estimate before work begins.
What should I expect a transmission repair to involve?
Transmission work ranges from fluid and filter service to diagnostic work, repairs and full rebuilds; the specific steps depend on your vehicle and the problem. Ask the shop to explain diagnostics, recommended repairs and any parts or labor warranties before authorizing work.
What should I check before hiring a shop?
Read recent customer reviews, confirm shop hours and warranty policies, check for technician certifications, and request a clear written estimate that breaks out parts and labor. Also ask how long diagnostics will take and whether the shop uses remanufactured or new parts.
